PET SHIMMERS IMBER

Constantly morphing Bristol collective Pet Shimmers have announced their second album of the year, alongside its absorbing lead track 'Imber'. Following January's Face Down In Meta, Trash Earthers will land in a month's time on the 2nd of October and will see the prolific group delve deeper inwardly on their continual pursuit towards lo-fi perfection. At a substantial 5 minutes long, 'Imber' drowns its listeners in a familiar ocean of crushing guitars, processed vocals and glitchy production that we've come to associate with the Oliver Wilde-fronted band. Covered in cooing backing vocals and shiny blasts of trumpet, theres a brightness to the intentionally dense mix that opens 'Imber' up to a multitude of moods and potential listening environments.
